There are buses, taxis and a metro service that run to Madrid's airport from the city. The bus, which is yellow and marked 'Aeropuerto' runs between the terminals and the Plaza de Colon in the centre of Madrid, costing approximately 380 pesetas. If you plan on taking a taxi to your hotel, it is best to catch one at the taxi ranks outside the airport and not be hustled into one by anyone. The average price of a taxi is 2,500 pesetas.
