The Stroget, the longest pedestrian zone in Europe, is a shopper's paradise lined with department stores, fashion boutiques and arts and crafts. For antiques and smaller specialised shops go to the Norrebo area, Copenhagen's 'Latin Quarter'.

Wining and Dining
You cannot visit Copenhagen without trying the 'smorrebrod', traditional open sandwiches topped with meat, fish or cheese. The city is full of good quality cafes and restaurants, especially along the Stroget and the Tivoli Gardens.
